Hagood Homes Visits Carousel Child Advocacy Center

Hagood Homes is no stranger to the communities of the Lower Cape Fear. With the work done through our nonprofit organization Hagood Hope for Children, we have been privileged to become acquainted with a number of organizations that have truly benefited the region. One recent afternoon, we were invited to join the team of the Carousel Child Advocacy Center in Wilmington, an agency long supported by Hagood Homes.

Members of the team got a closer look at the facility and met members of the staff, who gave an in-depth view of the work done on behalf of those it serves.

The Carousel Child Advocacy Center is called to aid child survivors of abuse and neglect, and their families, whether it is through victim support, medical services and forensic interviews, therapeutic services, case management, or a host of other activities that ensure that children who are survivors of abuse can heal, recover, thrive, and shine.

And most of all, Carousel Center professionals are advocates when children of abuse don’t have a voice of their own.
