Would you like to pay up to 40% more than you have to for utility bills? Of course not! But many homeowners pay more than they should without energy-saving spray foam insulation. Let’s look at the benefits of this cost-cutting element of a Hagood home.

Spray Foam Lowers Energy Costs

That energy-saving claim doesn’t come from us; the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) estimates that homes with spray foam insulation enjoy a 40% reduction in energy costs. According to the DOE, homes with spray foam insulation have around 35% to 40% better energy efficiency than average homes in the U.S. That directly translates to lower utility bills and reduced carbon footprints.

Hagood’s designs maximize the energy-saving properties of spray foam. How? By using advanced framing techniques and placing HVAC systems in attics. Hagood Homes has been busy in the Bluffs! We’re working on about two dozen new homes in this desirable gated community just 15 minutes from Downtown Wilmington.
